6" Inch Recessed Can Light Shower Fresnel Glass Lens, Wet Location

I'm not clear about the gasket. This is going into a shower. If the gasket doesn't fit how can it safely keep moisture away from the bulb?

The gasket fits under the white ring against the ceiling and will keep the moisture out.

If i use a cfl bulb can i use a higher wattage equivalent since the wattage of the cfl is less?

This shower trim is rated for 40W max. so as long as your bulb (LED, CFL, Halogen) is less than 40W then you are ok.

I need the tension clips to be shaped like an "l" at the end, not a "u" shaped hook. the photos show it both ways. what is the shape of the hook?

Ours are shaped like a "U" hook but thank you for the heads up, i will get in touch with our team to fix the image.

I measured my existing trim and its 8 ",but the glass measures 5",,your product indicates measurements of 6 inch glass,will your product fit?

Sorry for the confusion, the diamter of the trim from one side to the other is 8 inches (which includes the metal trim) and its basically what you see when looking up at the ceiling. The glass lens measures 5 inches in diameter. This 6" LED shower trim fits into 6 inch recessed housings (remodel and new construction)

Do you sell the glass only and if so, cost?

We don't sell the glass lens by itself but please contact and we can arrange something.

will this fit a Commercial Electric 6" can?

This 6 inch shower trim fits in most cans (remodel and new construction). We recommend using this LED trim with a E26 housing.
